I sit, sipping a warm Colombian drink, relaxing in one of the oversized Italian leather armchairs that decorate the rich earth tone walls of this space. I briefly admire an eclectic painting I caught a glimpse of on the wall across from me. Then my eyes are drawn to… him. He strolls to the counter and orders the Drink of the Day. Ugh. I hate that word - regret. I hate it because I regret SO much. My biggest regret though, is not taking the four years I spent in high school seriously. Even though that was so long ago, 90 percent of the decisions I made back then have haunted me to this day. So, kids, if you are reading this, remember that High School is MORE important...
